the more remarkable in light of his ongoing battle
with the lingering effects of a near-fatal brain

in
1996, an unexpected attack of viral encephalitis nearly
took Chris' life. It was the beginning of a long and
arduous journey toward recovering the communication and
memory skills he'd long enjoyed and suddenly found absent.
God's amazing restorative power is in full evidence on
each page of Changing My Mind as it
was in his previous book, Beggars Can Be Chosen.
